Confirmation
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is a time when students of middle or high school age are encouraged to make a personal decision about following Jesus. In Confirmation, we strive to introduce them to Jesus: who He is, what He said and did, and the meaning of His death and resurrection for us today. It is our deep desire that each student will come to a new understanding of themselves as a spiritual person, making an age-appropriate decision to accept and follow Jesus with their heart, mind, soul, and strength. The decision will be theirs.
Confirmation is designed to be experiential, participatory and connective. It is intended to be a baptism into the life of Jesus and his church. You may have to change your routines and rhythms to enable your students to fully participate, but the outcomes are well worth the investment during this limited season of time.

Design and execute a Confirmation/Youth Sunday
The 2023 Confirmation Class will work to conceive and lead a church-wide one hour service on October 10/29. The students will work on the design and elements of the service over the course of their Confirmation journey.
The power of Confirmation
Confirmation is a new beginning with Christ as Lord, Savior, and friend. We hope you will encourage your student in his or her spiritual life, in Scripture reading, youth fellowship, and Sunday worship.
Ultimately, though, the decision to be confirmed must be a personal choice made by each student. Each week their leaders will support them wherever they are on their spiritual journey. If a student decides they are not ready to be confirmed at the end of our time together, we will respect their decision. We would ask that you respect their decision as well. We hope that all students will be encouraged to be a part of our youth program post-Confirmation.

Middle School
The youth of today are more than the church of tomorrow, they are both the church of today and tomorrow. Our youth program models this mentality in every program, interaction, and event.
Our Vision and Values
We are disturbed by much of what we see in modern USAmerican church culture. We are a church that models the progressive change that we hope to see more broadly in all churches…
Our Beliefs
The best statements of beliefs are clear, simple, and time-tested. Some churches choose to define themselves by what they are against; we want to be known for what we are for…
