Meet Lori
Hi, I am Lori Oberacker-Pardue. I have been a member of JFC for over 30 years. My roots grow deep here. My three children, Marc (age 32), Hana (age 31), and Luke (29) grew up in this church. I met my husband, Jack Pardue, here as well. My mother, Marie Oberacker, is also a long-time member.
As much as my family is a part of JupiterFIRST Church, the church is also part of my family. My kids participated in Sunday School and Youth Group growing up, and Hana was even the Interim Director of Youth Ministries for a year. My husband, Jack, is a member of the JupiterFIRST Singers. Me, well, I have worn many hats over the years – all very fashionable, of course.
For many years, I was the church’s graphics specialist and I have run a handful of groups and classes, which I continue to do now. You will rarely see me sitting in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings, but funny enough, I can see you! I am always assisting Tom Addessa in the camera room or subbing for Francie Cowen in the booth upstairs. When I’m not at the church, you can find me out running, walking, out on the water with my husband, or cheering on the Buffalo Bills with my family.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a fully trained Life Coach, and a Certified Natural Health Professional. I help my clients move towards spiritual and emotional wholeness, and interpersonal accomplishments.
My specialties include individual, couples and family therapy, transitional issues, teen/young adults, anxiety, grief work, anger management, depression, stress management, premarital counseling, relationship issues, separation, divorce, and spiritual concerns and alternative natural health.
My office is located on campus and I continue to collaborate in leadership coaching, counseling, and group facilitation within the church. For more information or to schedule an appointment, you can contact me at 561-510-5701 or at goodgroundcounseling.com.
