What can I expect?

What is a Sunday Like?

In total, a JupiterFIRST Church service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with the JupiterFIRST Choir, Singers, and Band leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto screens so you may sing along if you wish. You won’t feel left out, though, if you don’t. We have a tradition of saying the Lord’s Prayer together as a community. The words will be on the screens for this as well, if you wish to join in. After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will share an encouraging, challenging, grace-filled message about Jesus. The first Sunday of every month, we close our services with communion. We practice an open table, so you are free to join us if you wish. Many do, some don’t, you won’t feel awkward either way.

What's the culture like at JupiterFIRST?

Sundays at JupiterFIRST are welcoming, overflowing with joy and busting with grace. Come as you are; you will be warmly welcomed here!

What about my Kids?
We believe that kids aren’t just the future of the church, they are the church! We are excited to welcome all children into our church and to invite them to experience God and our community of faith.  PLEASE register your child in the Narthex (lobby) prior to entering the Sanctuary and click here for all the details regarding children and JupiterFIRST Church. Questions? Contact our Direcor of Children’s Ministries, Marthe Hjortshoj, at marthe@jupiterfirst.org for more information.
What about my TEENS?
Do you have a 6th-12th grade student? If you can get them out of bed, we would love for them to join us in Worship at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. When you arrive, have your child drop by the youthFIRST table in the Narthex (lobby) where some of our middle and highschool students will be hanging out ready to welcome your teen and put them at ease (if they had any reservations about church). Halfway through the service, the 6th-12th graders are invited to go to Bible and Bagels, which is our middle and high school, youthFIRST, Sunday School program. The students then head over to our Center for Spiritual Renewal (CSR), which is on the west side of campus, and enjoy bagels, a lesson and discussion. Questions? Please email Sherlyn Burnham-Kuehn, our Director of Student Ministries, at sherlyn@jupiterfirst.org.
