NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY

A pictorial directory is a powerful tool in our church to help each of us know each other better. Our last directory is out-dated and it is time for a new one. Please make an appointment on Sunday to schedule your photo session, or you can sign up below.

Photo dates are:
MARCH 6,7,8,9,10 2023
You will have a professional photography session, see your proofs, and have the opportunity to purchase extra portraits for family and friends.

Your participation will help the church and yourself. Every family photographed for the directory will receive a copy of the directory and an 8×10 portrait at no cost. So please, sign-up today!

CANCER CARE POUCHES

Please join our Sewing Bee with a Purpose gathering Tuesday, January 31, at 9:30am in CSR to create apron pouches for breast Cancer patients.

We are in need of fabric utters (from a pattern), people to pin pieces together, some to press and some to sew.

If you can, please bring an iron, a portable sewing machine, fabric cutting scissors, your happy faces, and maybe even a joke or two.

Please call the church office, 561.747.8340 or email Brenda Markert through the link below if you’d like to come and help.

ANNUAL MEETING

JupiterFIRST’s Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 12, after Worship in the Sanctuary. There will be two Town Hall Meeting opportunities, Sunday, February 5 after Worship and Wednesday, February 8 at 6:30pm. The Town Hall meetings will offer open Q&A sessions for active pledging members regarding our Church Bylaws updates. More information will follow regarding the Town Hall Meeting format.

Our annual meeting is a meeting for active pledging members of JupiterFIRST Church and held after the end of each fiscal year as determined by the Church Council. The purpose of the annual meeting includes recognition of outgoing Council members and introduction of new Council members. Additionally, we will elect new nominating committee members and acknowledge new members of our deaconate. We will review last year’s budget and present the budget for 2023.

To be eligible to vote in the upcoming meetings, a 2023 Pledge Card must be turned in by January 31. To complete a 2023 Pledge Card, click here.

If you will need kidCare for the Annual Meeting or either of the Town Hall Meetings, please email marthe@jupiterfirst.org.

Meet Lori

Meet Lori

LMHC, CNHP

Hi, I am Lori Oberacker-Pardue. I have been a member of JFC for over 30 years. My roots grow deep here. My three children, Marc (age 32), Hana (age 31), and Luke (29) grew up in this church. I met my husband, Jack Pardue, here as well. My mother, Marie Oberacker, is also a long-time member.

As much as my family is a part of JupiterFIRST Church, the church is part of my family. My kids participated in Sunday School and Youth Group growing up and Hana was even the Interim Director of Youth Ministries for a year.  My husband, Jack, is a member of the JupiterFIRST Singers. Me, well, I have worn many hats over the years – all very fashionable, of course.
