Ways to Connect with God and Each Other:

THE ENNEAGRAM: WINDOW TO THE SOUL

Join our dear friend, Rev. Martie McMane, for a special Enneagram Zoom Session on Tuesday, May 25 at 9:00am. Register below and a Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the session.

The Enneagram is a rich, multi-layered system that helps us understand our essential self – who we are and how we live in the world. It uncovers our deepest motivations and shines a light on patterns of behavior we may not have noticed before.  With amazing clarity, the Enneagram can reveal our inner life and lead us to spiritual growth, wholeness and authentic living. Since becoming certified as an Enneagram teacher 26 years ago, Martie has used the Enneagram in her ministry as an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ, offering insight and practices to help people break free from unhealthy patterns and make room for their “True Self” to emerge. In this three- hour workshop, Martie will offer an overview of the Enneagram and through interaction and dialogue with participants on Zoom show how the Enneagram can lead to transformation in self -understanding and increased respect for the sacredness of all people.

Martie’s classes on the Enneagram have been a popular offering here at Jupiter Church for many years. Whether you have taken her classes before or are new to the Enneagram, rest assured there is always something new to learn about yourself and how the Enneagram can be a help no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

An ordained minister in the United Church of Christ for 35 years, the Rev. Martie McMane retired from being the lead pastor of First Congregational Church in Boulder from 2000-2016.  As a certified Enneagram teacher for 26 years, Martie has reached well over 1,500 people with her in-depth knowledge of the Enneagram and how its understanding can be transformative for our lives. In retirement, she currently leads workshops, offers spiritual direction using the Enneagram, facilitates SoulCollage® and supports people as they seek to grow spiritually and increase their self- understanding and compassion.

Erica’s Story

Hi, I’m Erica Barnes.  I began attending Jupiter First Church in 2002 at the invitation of Randy Sonntag, whom I worked with at Independence Middle School. Since then, I have been immersed in the music ministry and have directed various children’s choirs, Christmas performances and summer music camp here at the Church. More recently, I served on Church Council from 2019-2020.
