Meet David Cowen, Minister of Music & Worship
David joined JupiterFIRST in 1995, arriving from the fast-paced Orlando music scene—back when his hair was longer and less gray! A gifted minister, musician, composer, and all-around tech guy, David was ordained here in 2005 and has been faithfully leading our worship ever since.
Whether guiding Sunday worship or producing one of our unforgettable Christmas Eve services, David brings depth, creativity, and heart to everything he does. The JupiterFIRST Singers, many of whom have served for years, are a testament to his leadership and the power of music in our community.
Outside of church, David enjoys art, non-fiction, biking, and deep conversation. He and his wife, Francie, have three children—Haley, Marin, and Levi, and a new granddaughter, Eleanor.
The JupiterFIRST Church Singers are more than a worship team - they’re family. This dedicated group shows up every Sunday (and every holiday!) to lead us in music that blends timeless classics with fresh, uplifting favorites. They love what they do, and it shows in every note.
