OFFERING COMPASSION AND GUIDANCE

Support Groups

At JupiterFIRST Church, our Support Groups provide a compassionate space for individuals facing life's challenges. Led by experienced facilitators, these groups offer emotional support, practical guidance, and a sense of community. Whether navigating grief, addiction, or other struggles, our support groups are here to help you find healing and strength in a safe, welcoming environment.

GOOD GROUND COUNSELING

Good Ground Counseling provides faith-based counseling for individuals, couples, and families facing life’s challenges. Led by Lori Oberacker, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with an office on the church campus, it offers a safe space for healing and growth. Lori’s specialties include individual, couples and family therapy, transitional issues, teen/young adults, anxiety, anger management, depression, stress management, premarital counseling, relationship issues, separation, divorce, and spiritual concerns and alternative natural health. Contact Lori to set up a consultation!

STEPHEN MINISTERS

Stephen Ministers are compassionate caregivers known as the “After People” - the ones who step in after a crisis, loss, or life challenge to offer ongoing comfort, support, and a listening ear. They walk alongside you or someone you know, providing care for as long as needed. Their goal is to remind you that you are not alone and that support is always within reach.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a Stephen Minister, please email donna@jupiterfirst.org, fill out the form below, or call the church office at 561.747.8340.

Please know all communication is kept strictly confidential.

RECOVERY GROUPS

We are committed to supporting individuals and families on their journey to healing and wholeness. As part of this mission, we host Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Al-Anon recovery groups throughout the week in our CSR. These groups provide a safe, welcoming, and confidential space for those struggling with alcohol addiction, as well as for friends and family members involved.

You can find the schedule for on-campus meetings using the link below. For additional meeting options throughout Palm Beach County that best fit your schedule, please explore the resources provided here.
