Spiritual Formation Classes
At JupiterFIRST Church, our Spiritual Formation Classes are designed to deepen your faith and spiritual growth. These groups provide opportunities for study, reflection, and prayer, helping participants grow closer to God and one another. Whether you’re seeking to explore scripture, develop spiritual practices, or engage in meaningful discussion, our Spiritual Formation Classes offer a supportive space for your journey of faith.
SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Each Sunday we gather to reflect on and discuss the lectionary scripture passages for the day, with a special focus on the scripture that will be highlighted in the morning’s sermon. This time is meant to deepen our understanding of the Word and offer a space for thoughtful conversation.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and explore the richness of Scripture in a welcoming and relaxed environment.

LECTIONARY LAB
You're invited to join our ministry staff and members of the JupiterFIRST team as we explore the Narrative Lectionary readings for the weeks ahead. This engaging and thoughtful group offers a chance to dive deeper into Scripture, share your insights, and help shape the direction of upcoming sermons and worship.

CENTERING PRAYER
You're invited to step into a peaceful, sacred space for Centering Prayer—a gentle, silent practice that opens our hearts to the presence of God. Rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, this time of quiet reflection helps us slow down, listen deeply, and rest in God's love.
Whether you're looking for stillness, spiritual renewal, or simply a moment of calm, Centering Prayer offers a meaningful way to reconnect with yourself and with God.

FAST TRACK DISCIPLE: INTO THE WORD, INTO THE WORLD
Into the World is a 24-week Bible study designed to connect Scripture with faithful action. Over two 12-session segments, you’ll explore Genesis–Exodus and Luke–Acts with Betty Kniss, discovering how God’s Word shapes your call to ministry.
Each week highlights real needs in the world, offers possible responses, and invites you to reflect on the Scripture message that will guide your own response and commitment. Along the way, you’ll also be led in practices of Sabbath rest and renewal.

FORGIVING WHAT YOU CAN’T FORGET
Based on Forgiving What You Can't Forget by Lisa Terkeurst and led by Christine vonBallmoos, this class offers a compassionate and practical space for healing. Together, participants will explore how to release resentment, make peace with painful memories, and navigate the process of forgiveness without minimizing the hurt they’ve experienced.
