Spiritual Formation Classes
At JupiterFIRST Church, our Spiritual Formation Classes are designed to deepen your faith and spiritual growth. These groups provide opportunities for study, reflection, and prayer, helping participants grow closer to God and one another. Whether you’re seeking to explore scripture, develop spiritual practices, or engage in meaningful discussion, our Spiritual Formation Classes offer a supportive space for your journey of faith.
SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
When: Sundays, 8:15-9:15am
Where: CSR, Bethany
Each Sunday, we gather to reflect on and discuss the lectionary scripture passages for the day, with a special focus on the scripture that will be highlighted in the morning’s sermon. This time is meant to deepen our understanding of the Word and offer a space for thoughtful conversation.
Everyone is welcome to join, and coffee will be provided to enjoy as we come together in community.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and explore the richness of Scripture in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
LECTIONARY LAB
When: 2nd Tuesday of the Month, 6-7:30pm
Where: Chapel
Join our ministry staff and other members of the JupiterFIRST team as they read and discuss the Narrative Lectionary readings for the upcoming weeks. This group provides an opportunity to dive deeper into the scripture, share perspectives, and prepare for the upcoming sermons.

CENTERING PRAYER
When: 4th Tuesday of the Month, 5:30-6:15 pm
Where: Chapel
We invite you to drop by to experience this deeply transformative practice. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer that helps us open our hearts and minds to God’s presence. It prepares us to receive the gift of contemplative prayer, and is a sacred space where we experience God’s presence within us.
Whether you are seeking stillness, peace, or simply a quiet space to connect, this is a path to encounter God in a new and intimate way.

WEDNESDAY MORNING
BIBLE STUDY
When: Wednesdays, March 19-April 23 | 9:30-11:15am

Looking for a way to prepare your heart for Easter? We invite you to join us as we study Finding I AM which explores the seven I AM statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. The accompanying video is filmed in Israel at sites where Jesus lived, taught and performed miracles. By studying the historical and cultural context of Jesus and by digging into scripture, we will gain a deeper understanding of his I AM statements. The goal is to help us apply Jesus’ words to our modern-day questions and issues.
The book divides the week’s assignment into 4 days of personal study with an optional 5th day if you want to go deeper. Procrastinators will find that cramming the day before class won’t work! We recommend using the study as a 20-minute daily devotional. If you don’t have time, please come anyway! You will love the video and being with your small group.
