FAITH IN ACTION, LOVE IN MOTION
Outreach Groups
At JupiterFIRST Church, we believe faith comes alive through service. Our outreach ministries are dedicated to meeting real needs in our community and beyond - offering hope, support, and compassion where it’s needed most. Whether near or far, there’s a way for everyone to make a difference.
PARTNERS IN SERVICE
When: 2nd Sunday of each month, after church
Where: CSR (Community Service Room)
Facilitated by Anna Doolittle and Lori Oberacker-Pardue
The Partners in Service Team creates opportunities for JupiterFIRST members and friends to serve others—locally and beyond—following the example of Jesus. This group meets monthly to explore new ways to engage in meaningful outreach and build relationships with local organizations. Current efforts include Food on the First and the Annual Gleaning with CROS Ministries, meal service at the Lewis Center, Friends of Foster Children, Kids Closet Clean-Out, and more. The group pauses for the summer and will resume in the fall. To learn more or get involved, please contact the church office below.
FOOD ON THE FIRST
When: First Sunday of each month
Where: Drop-off tables in the Narthex
Each month, we collect nonperishable food items to help stock local food pantries and support families in need. Donations can be placed on the designated tables in the Narthex on the first Sunday of the month.
We’re especially in need of: peanut butter, breakfast cereal, paper products, canned vegetables and fruits, soups, canned meats (tuna, ham, Spam), tomato sauce, coffee, tea, baby food, rice, pasta, and macaroni & cheese.
Thank you for your continued generosity as we work together to bring the “bread of life” to our community.
