Our Mission
The mission of youthFIRST is to welcome, connect, and engage youth in a Christ-centered, faithful, and fun community that empowers them to live out their unique calling with purpose and joy.

Before the service starts, stop by the youthFIRST Table in the Narthex - we’ll help you find a seat with the group! During worship, all middle and high students head to the CSR for a relaxed time of connection, conversation, and growing in faith. We can't wait to see you there!
MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM
The WAVE
Mondays, 6:00-8:00 PM
The Monday Middle School meeting at The WAVE is always a night to remember! We welcome all 6th-8th grade students for an action-packed evening filled with energy and fun.
Join us in Faith Hall (on the southwest end of the campus) from 6:00-8:00 PM for a free dinner, games, worship, an engaging message, and small group discussions centered around faith, friendship, and fun.
We can’t wait to see you there!
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
ANCHORED
Wednesdays, 6:00-8:15 PM
Join us Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:30 PM in Porter Hall (on the west end of campus) for a gathering designed to bring students closer to each other and to God. Each night centers around a theme, with plenty of opportunities for connection and, of course, fun!
The program includes food and snacks, games, worship, an inspiring message,
small group discussions, and some time to just hang out.
We can’t wait for you to be part of it!
Meet Sherlyn
OUR YOUTH MINISTER
A fourth-generation Floridian, Sherlyn Burnham-Kuehn grew up in Tampa and earned both her B.A. in English and M.A. in Theology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She and her family began attending JupiterFIRST in 2016, where she’s been active in The JupiterFIRST Singers, Children’s Ministries, and momsFIRST. Sherlyn was locally ordained at JupiterFIRST in April of 2024.
With a background in Student Ministries, she has over 20 years of experience mentoring young people, leading worship, and organizing outreach programs. She’s excited to once again answer God’s call to serve in Youth Ministry.
When she’s not spending time with her husband and two daughters, Sherlyn enjoys playing the piano, reading everything from spy novels to self-help and memoirs, and taking walks with her family’s terrier mix.

Each month, students are invited to serve as we collect nonperishable food items to help stock local food pantries and support families in our community.

We’re kicking off the school year in the best way possible—with a beach cookout full of sunshine, good vibes, and great company! Whether you’re new to campus or returning for another year, this is the perfect chance to relax, meet new friends, and celebrate the start of a brand-new semester.

CSR EMMAUS
September 20-November 1
CONFIRMATION
Students in grades 7–12 who are at least 12 years old are invited to join Confirmation! Through classes, small groups, retreats, and plenty of fun, students will explore their faith and what it means to follow Christ.
Classes meet Sundays, September 20–November 1 (except October 4), from 4:30–6:00 PM in the CSR Building’s Emmaus Room. The program also includes retreats October 2–3 and November 14, followed by Confirmation Sunday on November 15.
The cost is $85, with flexible payment and sponsorship options available. Parents are asked to attend the first class and support their student’s full participation.

Looking for something fun to do on your day off from school? Come and spend a few hours with friends—both new and old! We’ll enjoy lunch and snacks together, play games, and take part in activities designed to make the most of the afternoon. Whether you’re looking to laugh, recharge, or simply hang out in a relaxed and welcoming space, this is a great way to connect with others and enjoy your time off. Everyone is invited, so bring a friend and join the fun!
